Give Gracefully has been gracious and very generous to me. They have mentored and guided me in my journey as a volunteer.

GiveGracefully has offered me an opportunity to grow but intellectually and socially. I have been able to develop my interpersonal skills interacting with many people during our volunteer events. 

I have grown more emphatic over the years as I got to experience firsthand what it means to not be able to eat a meal not because one is fasting but because of lack. I also got to see people sleep in the streets for days and have to brave the cold for days. I have also seen people struggle with basic needs like getting clean drinking water especially in remote parts of the world where they rely on natural water sources.

With aid from well-wishers, GiveGracefully, gave these people an opportunity to hope again, another chance to dream and live their lives without despair.

Over the years, I have had the chance to see someone leave the streets and reinvent themselves to live a normal and fulfilling life. I have seen communities in rural Africa get to enjoy piped water, the joy in their eyes tells it all. Children in orphanages have been given a chance to enjoy delicious meals, given toys to play with, clothes to keep them warm, beddings, and books.

I believe the best gift life has given us is our humanity. Be humane to the needy, be their keeper and the universe will reward you tenfold.
